Courtney has a B.Sc. in Journalism from Northwestern University but considers her round-the-world trip through Western Europe, SE Asia and the South Pacific to be much more educational (and less expensive).
In 2006, she spent two months working in South and East Africa and two months traipsing through Eastern Europe. In 2007, she hopes to travel to countries where “beach” and “sun” are featured prominently in the advertising.
